Dear colleagues,
below some information about the musical courses in the vicinity of Florence which will be held in April 2025, in which I have already participated in past editions as a piano teacher and co-repetitor.
​Villa Pitiana is an idyllic place located on a hill that combines relaxation and concentration.
Various public performances are planned during the courses.
It is a multicultural program in which students and teachers from Italy, Austria and Germany participate.
​I am grateful for further spreading of the information . I would be glad to meet some of your pupils on that occasion.
As some of you may know, I have recorded the Op.667 "Tableaux mélodiques" by Viennese composer Carl Czerny to spread the knowledge of this little-known piano repertoire which has interesting and pleasant sides.
​If any of your students would like to play one or more of the "Tableaux" - which range from easier to more difficult pieces - or other pieces by Czerny (and by his contemporary Schubert) during the courses, I would be very happy to work on them, of course in addition to other pieces of their choice.
